The unparallel saga of love

My eyes were stuck over the dark sky enlightened by the sparkle of the moon and stars. And slowly the hustles of the busy night uncovered, and I was lost in my thoughts.

Whenever I observe the profundity of innocent amour, I feel nostalgic and hopeful. Happy endings are very rare. A rush of chill ran through my spine and I could feel the tremors weigh in on my shoulders, imagining their plight. I clearly remember two pristine souls ascending towards the sky and the crimson blood splashing on my countenance. My eyes traversed through the lanes, and I saw Naziya strolling towards the cement bench where she used to sit with Bhuvan. Naziya’s hazel eyes looked for him in frantic; at times glistening with hope. There was an eerie silence amidst the whooshing, screeching, and rumbling sounds of the train.

Love peeps out of the window sheers of adolescence; it chooses hearts dreaming to get immersed in the ocean of love.

Their war-to-love saga started in front of my eyes. Am I proud of it? Yes, I am!
I have been a silent observer of unions, betrayals, and deaths. The mourning of the forbidden love still echoes in my ears; those lost laughters haunt me. The painful reality of crushed dreams under the wheels of cruel fate. I close my ears to ignore the honking. I have been cursed, but Naziya and Bhuvan’s union is a rare and celestial benediction to my soul.

Naziya and Bhuvan used to fight over silly things. I have seen the magical spell of enchanted gazes and cherished the ascension of mystical yearnings through their souls. They have found solace around my presence.
That day was different. I heard the whole conversation. The otherwise chirpy Naziya was overwhelmed, and I knew it was the time.
With tears in her eyes, Naziya said, “Maybe this is the end! Will you save me? Are there any chances of survival?”
“I can’t predict the future, but I won’t leave you alone.”
Bhuvan promised and assured,
“Till death do us part!”
“What if death is the only comfort?” She whimpered. “Then, so be it,” Bhuvan consoled.
How will I witness this? Love leads and empowers; when lost, it finds a way. But can humans neither hear nor see the echo of these cries nor see the pain of the ailing hearts?

Naziya sat there looking at me, and I couldn’t look into her eyes. Her gaze pierced through me. She waited, and finally, when the stars too decided to sparkle, he showed up. Bhuvan was here! But what’s next? Preassumptions were killing me!
Before Naziya could speak, he profoundly held her in his arms tightly and uttered, “We have to survive.”
I was no more the personification of misfortunes; I became the harbinger of hopes. Finally, I discovered light at the end of the tunnel. Naziya and Bhuvan waved to me as I, the railway track, watched them going away happily.
