Event Rules:
1. Word Limit: 600 to 900 words
Endnotes: Only independent endnotes are excluded from the word count.
- Excluded: Glossary, Credits, Reference links
- Included: Epilogue, Author Notes (if required to clarify the story), PostScript
2. One Entry Per Person
- Each participant is allowed one entry.
- Entries should not be edited until the last day of the month.
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- Writers below the age of 14 are not eligible.
3. Where and How to Submit Your Entry
Method 1:
Post your entry on the ArtoonsInn Writers Room website at www.prowritersroom.com:
- Sign up if you haven’t already.
- Click the ‘Publish’ button to submit your writing.
- Select the most relevant categories (Genre/Theme) and Five00-25.
- Upload a relevant copyright-free image as the cover image for your story.

Approval: Submissions will be approved on the website/Facebook within 1 to 12 hours by the ArtoonsInn Watchers(team).
Sharing: Once approved on the website, share the link to your story in the Writers Room Facebook group using the hashtags: #ArtoonsInn #Inntales-1
Method 2:
- If you have a personal website hosted by ArtoonsInn Geeks Room, you can publish your story on your own website and directly share the link in the Writers Room Facebook group.
- If you don’t have a website, we recommend starting one with ArtoonsInn Geeks Room. Over a 100 writers have already signed up. No technical knowledge? No worries. The Geeks Room team handles all technical aspects for you.

4. Deadline
Share your story in the Writers Room Facebook group before 23:30 IST on 21st January 2026. Late entries may not be approved.
5. AI Content
To ensure fair competition, any participant found using AI tools for writing stories will be banned from the Writers Room without prior notice.
6. Be Friendly
We encourage creating a friendly and supportive community. Anyone exhibiting inappropriate behavior will be banned from the community without any prior notice.
7. Rewards & Prizes
Winners and Runner-ups (if applicable) will be announced on Recognition Day, celebrated on the last day of the month. Here’s what they’ll receive:

Winner: Rs. 1500 cash prize (Rs. 3000 if their entry is posted on their own website hosted at ArtoonsInn Geeks Room)
Important Note: Cash prizes are awarded only if there are a minimum of 18 entries in this writing event. If fewer than 18 entries, the winner receives two books instead.
