Event Rules:
1. Word Limit: 450 to 500 words
–>If your story doesn’t fit in 500 words, you can write without any limits and submit it as a guest entry. We consider such entries too for recognitions, except they will not be eligible for winning or the cash prize.
Endnotes: Only independent endnotes are excluded from the word count.

- Included: Epilogue, Author Notes (if required to clarify the story), PostScript
2. One Entry Per Person
- Each participant is allowed one entry.
- Entries should not be edited until the last day of the month.
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- Writers below the age of 14 are not eligible.
3. Where and How to Submit Your Entry
Method 1:
Post your entry on the ArtoonsInn Writers Room website at www.prowritersroom.com:
- Sign up if you haven’t already.
- Click the ‘Publish’ button to submit your writing.
- Select the most relevant categories (Genre/Theme).
- Upload the given image as the cover image for your story.

Approval: Submissions will be approved on the website/Facebook within 1 to 12 hours by the ArtoonsInn Watchers(team).
Sharing: Once approved, share the link to your story in the Writers Room Facebook group using the hashtags: #ArtoonsInn #Five00-24

- If you have a personal website hosted by ArtoonsInn Geeks Room, you can publish your story on your own website and directly share the link in the Writers Room Facebook group.

4. Deadline
Share your story in the Writers Room Facebook group before 23:30 IST on 21st September 2025. Late entries may not be approved.
5. AI Content
To ensure fair competition, any participant found using AI tools for writing stories will be banned from the Writers Room without prior notice.
6. Keep It Green
We encourage creating a friendly and supportive community. Anyone exhibiting inappropriate behavior will be banned from the community without any prior notice.
7. Rewards & Prizes
Winners and Runner-ups (if applicable) will be announced on Recognition Day, celebrated on the last day of the month. Here’s what they’ll receive:

Winner: Rs. 1500 cash prize
- Bonus Prize: If the winning entry is published on a personal website hosted by ArtoonsInn Geeks Room, the winner will receive an additional Rs. 1500 cash prize, making the total cash prize: Rs. 3000 Important Note: Cash prizes are awarded only if there are a minimum of 18 entries in this writing event. If fewer than 18 entries, the winner receives two books instead.
